Our Mission

Accreditation is the recognition of an achieved standard.  Accreditation associations set the level of what is expected to comply with their accreditation standards. Those who apply to the accrediting entity go through a period of application and candidacy status fulfilling the requirements to comply with the accrediting body. When the institutionalization or ministry has complied with the application and candidacy process they are awarded the Accreditation credentials.

Accreditation credentials are valuable as they represent to those you serve that you have achieved a standard of recognition for the ministry/service you are called to perform.

NAC   provides accreditation and affirmation for Christian schools, ministries and institutions. Schools, ministries and institutions whose service is Christ-centered and Biblically are invited to apply. Please see our doctrinal statement page.  We do not offer accreditation for secular or public entities as this is not our mission. Our mission is to offer a Christian based non-governmental accreditation of your Christ-centered ministry. We do not expect your statement of faith to be identical to our's. We realize there are many denominations, Independent ministries and good Christ-loving people who differ in interpretation of scripture. We affirm the priesthood of the believer and look forward to hearing from you if you love Jesus and the scriptures.

Before someone puts trust in a school, ministry or institution they want to know that an acceptable standard has been achieved. American Accrediting Commission of Christian Schools International can help you achieve this recognition.

We ask that you fill out the Free Accreditation Evaluation and submit online.  If more information is needed we will contact you via email or telephone.  Once all the information is gathered the process may take from two weeks to two months to complete the accreditation process.

In Christian education there should be a proper balance between academic freedom and academic responsibility. Freedom in any orderly relationship of human life is always limited and never absolute. The freedom of a teacher in a Christian school, college, or seminary is limited by the pre-eminence of Jesus Christ, by the authoritative nature of the Scriptures, and by the distinct purpose for which the school/ministry exists.
